Metro Missions is an incredible organization in C***, India [specific locations redacted for security purposes] that focuses on teaching the youth of the city about God's plan for their lives and His deep love for them. From the slums to the private schools of C***, no children are too poor or too rich for this message.
Metro Missions was the beneficiary of our New England Bike Ride in September of 2018. On that tour, we saw 30 world-changers (18 cyclists and 12 support staff) ride 300+ miles each. They prayed. They pedaled. And, they raised awareness and funds to promote and resource youth ministry in India. Funds raised in 2018 are still being used today [in November 2021]! Below are some of the fruits from their efforts! To God be the Glory!
School of Children’s Ministry (SCM)

In November 2021, Metro Missions held three-day SCM training programs in C*** (17 delegates) & V*** (40 delegates) to share the vision of reaching children from all walks of life and equipping them with numerous resources to aid in discipleship. The best aspect is that they all saw the need and urgency of ministering to children; they were inspired, and the majority of them have already begun to serve children. We thank God for the Holy Spirit’s work in these training programs, and for all your prayers and support.
Personalized Shepherding Initiative (PSI)

By the grace of God, the Personal Shepherding Initiative is going on with much enthusiasm in 9 different places training the teens in arts and crafts and music, and providing counseling sessions. We are hoping and planning to reach many more places in the days to come.
PSI is a one-to-one discipleship approach with a stronger emphasis on relationships and individualized care to teenagers. Metro Missions’ vision is to engage children and teenagers in community-impacting discipleship while simultaneously inspiring them to complete their education. We believe that providing them with personalized shepherding attention will not only help them grow as followers of Jesus Christ but will also help them achieve their educational objectives and talents, allowing them to positively impact their communities and meet their families’ basic needs.
We have discovered that the best approach to help teens is to provide them with the tools and lessons they need to reach their full potential. With the help of our donors and supporters, we’ve put that kind of faith to work. Our sincere thanks to the Ends of the Earth Cycling team for partnering with us in this initiative. We would love to invite all of you to team up with us to help make a difference by contributing to this initiative.
TEEN LEADERS MEETINGS

We thank and praise God for the inspiration given by Ends of the Earth Cycling to give an increased focus on equipping teens to live for Christ, grow in Christ, and be community transformers. We are thrilled that this novel strategy concentrates on boosting our efforts to train teens to be more committed disciples of Jesus and equip them with biblical leadership abilities.
By the grace of God, we have conducted two retreats for teens in November 2021. One was at P*** where 27 teenagers participated, and the other at A*** where 60 teenagers from four nearby villages took part. Through these retreats, teens from 5 communities have been impacted powerfully with His word.
'Overcomers' was the theme of these gatherings. Worship, fun games, testimonies, motivational video, word of God, group discussion, personal counsel, and prayer time were all part of this retreat. We thank God for all the 87 young people who could take part.
During the first session, many committed their lives to Jesus Christ after hearing that they can be overcomers only when they are delivered from sin and have a personal relationship with Christ. The second session started with a group activity to motivate the teens. The importance of depending on the Holy Spirit to lead victorious life was shared and many surrendered their lives for holy living. The teens were given a healthy sumptuous meal for lunch.
Testimonies from Teen Leaders Meetings

Hariharan (12th-grade student)
Hariharan, a teenager who just finished his 12th grade is a regular attendee of our MLC at P***. Last year he lost his father during the lockdown. His mother takes care of him, his 13-year-old sister, and his grandmother by doing house cleaning jobs.
Hariharan says, “My dream is to become a lawyer, but financial constraints make it look impossible. The programs in this teen's retreat motivated me again to achieve more in life. I felt that if a person like Nick Vujicic, without arms and limbs, can travel to many countries and do great things, I too can attain greater heights in life."
Rathna (12th-grade student)
"I experienced the power of God during the anointing session. I have committed my life to lead a holy life with the help of His Spirit. I praise God for this awesome experience."
Mariya (11th-grade student) "When I was praying, I saw a great light coming in and dispelling the darkness in me. I felt the Lord’s forgiveness and peace in my heart. This retreat was very useful to me." Rama Maheswari (7th-grade student) "I had a vision of the cross while I was praying. I thank God for His blood and the forgiveness of my sins. I want to be an overcomer in life and cross all the hurdles that come my way with His help and guidance." We are constantly in touch with these teens and praying that they will be mighty overcomers in His kingdom and lead many into His fold. Thank you once again for all your support. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to place more attention on the teens in all our Metro Life Centers. We are praying for you all.
