At this time last year, our Ends Cycling CREW was reflecting on the goodness of God at our offsite meetings in Lexington, KY. We recorded our 2020 SOTU address and testified how even though COVID-19 forced us to cancel or postpone 4 of our tours, our participants still raised more money for global youth ministry than ever before!
Well, we have some good news for you: God DID it again!
In 2021, He allowed us the privilege of hosting 6 cycling tours impacting youth in Romania, Cambodia, Philippines, Ukraine, Kenya and Nicaragua.
In Psalm 65, the author twice mentions “the ends of the earth.” Notice with us:
“By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us,
O God of our salvation,
You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,
And of the far-off seas;” - Psalm 65:5
“...those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at Your signs.
You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.” - Psalm 65:8
God has heard the prayers of His people who have joined with Ends of the Earth Cycling this year in making much of Jesus, on behalf of youth globally.
In total, 151 people registered for full tours and got on bikes with us. Those same people pedaled upwards of 39,070 miles DURING our tours. That doesn’t include their training miles.
Those 151 people were taken care of by our amazing Support Staff. In total, 64 people signed up and came and served on our tours! And that number doesn’t include the dozen(s) of kids who got involved as well!
As we reflect back on the last 11 months, we have been encouraged beyond measure by the efforts of God’s people. The relationships formed with our global youth workers, and privilege of telling their story is what keeps us going toward our goal of hosting Christ-centered cycling tours in all 50 states.
In conclusion, we are thrilled to share with you that $147,704+ has been raised to promote & resources global youth ministries in Ends Cycling tours in 2021. That’s over $22K more than our participants have ever raised in a single-year and we are upwards of 90% there toward our Million-dollar goal all-time. To God be the Glory!
As we move forward into 2022, we have incredible tours planned in places like Vermont, Alaska, and more! These are places we have never hosted tours before and we need your help to get there. Please consider a special gift to propel us victoriously forth with the Good News of the Gospel for global youth!
